capital markets, asset management, and fintech, Barry brings invaluable expertise to help guide
T7X through its next phase of growth.
Throughout his career, Barry has held leadership roles in major financial institutions and asset
management firms. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Bear Run Partners, a
specialized consultancy in fintech, tokenization, capital markets, asset management, and
insurance. Barry is also a partner at Alcan Harbor, Inc., a private equity investment firm. His
deep knowledge of the capital markets landscape, particularly in derivatives trading and
alternative investments, will be a key asset in advising T7X on strategic initiatives.
Barry’s previous roles include Head of Global Derivatives and Hedging at AEGON Asset
Management, where he oversaw the management of derivatives portfolios with notional
exposures of $100 billion to $130 billion. He also led Natixis Alternative Investments (US), Inc.
in the development and management of alternative investment products, including hedge funds and private equity. Prior to this, he co-managed Celestar Capital Advisors LLC, which was
acquired by Natixis, and served in various leadership roles at AXA Global Structured Products
and AXA Alternative Advisors.
In addition, Barry has held positions as Head of Financial Institutions Coverage at General Re
Financial Products, Co-Head of Financial Institutions Coverage at Citibank, and Head of Exotic
Options Development and Trading at O’Connor and Associates, which later became Swiss
Bank-O’Connor. His broad experience across financial institutions and alternative asset classes
positions him as a valuable advisor to T7X as the company continues to grow and expand its
offerings in the tokenized finance space.
Barry was inducted into the Volatility Investing Hall of Fame in 2016 by EQ Derivatives
Magazine and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering as well as an
MBA from Cornell University.
